Dove andare a vivere a Tenerife?

Tenerife Sud

2010: S. Pedro Alcantara, Fuerteventura, Nicaragua

L’orticello della mia casa di Fuerteventura

Nel 2010 ho vissuto quasi interamente in Spagna: 3 mesi a San Pedro de Alcantara, vicino a Marbella, e oltre 6 a Fuerteventura, nelle isole Canarie.

Cafès and bar in Barcelona are everywhere. Many of them have seats outdoor, often in very scenic spots. I can just spend days and days in Barcelona hopping cafes, enjoying great tapas and people watching.

Photo-gallery: Barcelona ramblas y port

Even if they have changed during the years, now cramped with tourists and scammers and sometimes dodgy at night, Le ramblas are still a magic spot, a place you always end, while in Barcelona. La rumba de Barcelona pasa por la ramblas. La rambla end at the Port of Barcelona, with Mare Magnum.

Photo-gallery: Barcelona, street artists

Barcelona is simply put my favourite European city. Erg, just my favourite city, probably. One of the thing I like more in Barcelona is that you find, not just in the ramblas, street artist everywhere: singers, clowns, dancers, jugglers. I took this picture in 2006.

Photo-gallery: Fuerteventura, Canary Islands

I lived in Fuerteventura from May to October 2010. The island has beautiful beaches, good waves for surfers, plenty of wind for Kiters or windurfers. Most of the inland is desertic. It is wild but lack any cultural interest and after 5 months I grew tired of the place.

Photo-gallery: Isla los lobos, Fuerteventura

Isla los Lobos is a tiny island between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, Canary Islands. It has a unique ecosystem and it’s definitley worth a day trip from Corralejo. It is not possible to sleep in the island, unless you want to camp into the wild. I was there in May 2010.

Photo-gallery: Cofete, Fuerteventura

Cofete lies at the bottom of Fuerteventura, beyond the highest hill /750mt) of the island. And because of that is very often cloudy, and adding the fact you can reach the place only through a dirty road, Cofete has a “end of the world” feeling. In fact, when I asked to the man at the last Restaurant before reaching the beach he told me “In Cofete solo hay muertos”.
