I spent 2 weeks based in La Linea de Concepcion, the small city bordering with Gibraltar (Gibilterra), the british settlement at the southernmost end of Spain, separated from Morocco by the small Strait of Gibraltar, between November and December 2009. I had a job interview there and while waiting for the answer I tour the beautiful Andalusia again.
Tarifa is mecca for wind sports like Windsurf or Kite Surf in Andalusia, Spain. But it boast also nice nature and a cozy historic city center. I visited in November 2009.
I spent 1 week in beautiful Ronda (Andalusia, on the hills overlooking Marbella) in December 2009. The view from the bridge is astonishing.
Sevilla, patria del Flamenco, what a magic place it is. With its gipsy culture, hot nightlife, yummy tapas and the astonishing Plaza de Espana, one of my top 7 favourite Squares. I can’t believed I didn’t came back yet since my only visit in February 2004.
Sherry Fino is by far my favourite aperitive wine. I visited the Tio Pepe Gonzalez Byass winery (bodega) in Jerez de la Frontera twice: in February 2004 (when I took this pictures) and 6 years later in February 2010.
I visited Alhambra, the enchanting Arab palace in Granada (Spain), in January 2004, during my first trip to Andalusia. Granada is worth it only for this, but if it’s not enough for you, then it should be know you can find the best free tapas and the beautiful barrio Albaicin.
